There was an overall decrease in exports, mainly of those sent to China, which fell by 8.9%. This case was much greater than the fall of exports to the other main markets in Asia.
Unlike exports, the value of regional imports of goods originating in Asia-Pacific increased by 2.4%in 2014, where the greatest increase corresponded to imports from China (4.8%). Such increase contrasts the fall in imports from the rest of the world.
